In an effort to assist even more local families, the Smithtown Children’s Foundation enlisted the help of Hauppauge wife, mother and former small business owner, Rosa Federico to emulate what we have done in Smithtown, in Hauppauge. When Rosa had to step down as Executive Director, Jennifer O’Brien graciously offered to take on the role as the Executive Director of the Hauppauge Chapter. Recently, Jenn had to step back & we are thrilled that Holly Tina Glick agreed to fill this role.

Holly, her husband and two children reside in Hauppauge. Her passion for community service started at an early age. Instilled with the principles of helping others from her parents- she started volunteering as a Girl Scout in the 1st grade throughout High School. As a decorated Girl Scout leader of 13 years, she has held various positions for Girl Scouts in the Hauppauge and Central Islip School District, including Campaign Chair for the overall Service Unit for Hauppauge and Central Islip Schools; and the highest volunteer position of Service Unit Coordinator. She is a multi-year Gold Award Volunteer for the Presidential Service Award and hopes to achieve Lifetime Status in the next few years. She has also been a Boys Scouts leader and committee member. She volunteers countless hours cooking for Long Island Veterans and she was recently crowned as Elite American Woman of Service. As a parent in the Hauppauge District, Holly is thrilled for the opportunity to work with local families and give back to the community.

While we wanted to roll out this chapter in a grand way, it is ironic that as the Smithtown Children’s Foundation was initially formed because someone needed our help, so too was the Hauppauge chapter born! On behalf of the SCF founders, we’d like to thank Rosa Federico & Jennifer O'Brien for their dedication & welcome Holly Tina Glick for believing in what we do so much that she was willing to step up and head a chapter for our neighbors in Hauppauge!
