CARING COMMUNITY MEMBERS TAKE ACTION

We are deeply touched and grateful to all of the businesses within the community who have shown such enthusiasm, inspiration, effort & heart stepping up to assist us making Smithtown a community that others want to emulate!   

TOWN OF SMITHTOWN DONATES SCHOOL SUPPLIES

On September 4, 2018, the Town of Smithtown donated eight boxes filled to the brim with backpacks, lunch boxes, notebooks, rulers, art supplies etc to the @Smithtown Children's Foundation during the Town Board Meeting. It was a great success, much in part thanks to our town employees and residents who are always extremely generous.

TACKAN ELEMENTARY CHARACTER & CIVICS  CLUB

Tackan Elementary 4th & 5th grade Character & Civics Club, spearheaded by Danielle Anderson, runs a campaign for the SCF, “collecting change to make a change”  These industrious student club’s creative campaign raised $160 for the SCF!  

MARKAR JEWELERS

Markar Jewelers Hosts Fundraiser for SCF introducing 2 new jewelry lines and raises over $700 with the help of Sweet Lucilles Desserts!

SHS E/W JV/V Baseball teams 7 & the SHS East Track teams came out to support our Smiles For Stefani 5k Run/Walk.  From manning water stations & cheering the runners to being runners, we thank the students for giving of their time and efforts, and to the coaches for being exemplary role models for our children.

The Fifth Precinct Alliance presented the SCF with proceeded from their annual Golf Outing!

Swirls & Twirls gives 50% of grand opening proceeds this past October 2012 to the Foundation!

KIM DEERY - GIRLSCOUT

Girlscout, Kim Deery earns her Gold Award by gathering donations of backpacks & school supplies, cataloguing them & building a shelving  unit to store when we have need of them!

Our thanks to Yogurtini of Smithtown for hosting Frozen Themed Breakfasts & making the SCF a beneficiary! 

BOYSCOUTS

Many thanks to our boy scouts for helping us run our events.  Cub Scout Pack 373 recently walked in the Smiles for Stefani Run and later acted as color guards!  Way to go boys!

SHE DECA CLUB

SHE DECA raised $500 & awareness for the SCF on St. James DaySHE DECA hosts a bake sale at Stop n Shop raising $250 in our honor!SHE DECA continues to assist the foundation as they hosted fundraisers at Dunkin Donuts & Moe's Southwest Grill!They collected 7 boxes full of non-perishable food items AND 2 truck loads of clothes for our clothing drive!And we are so happy to report that because of their championing our cause, they took First Place at State DECA competition and are now heading to Nationals!

Girl scouts run gingerbread decorating & letter writing to Santa stations at our annual Holiday Breakfasts.

JECO'S DELI - GOLF 2012

The 2012 Friends Fore the Smithtown Community Golf Outing took place on a beautiful sunny day attended by many Smithtown golfers!  Jeco's Deli owners, Connie & Joe Economos who are always an integral part of our holiday breakfast, surprised the foundation with a $500 donation.  

EMPIRE STATE KARATE

ESK held a winter fundraiser in a 2012 snowstorm & presented the foundation with $500! 

TEENS KARAOKE DAY

Great Hollow students turn class assignment into fundraising reality & raised $2000 for the foundation!

LEMONADE STAND

Not only does the expression, "size doesn't matter" but neither does age when it comes to helping ones community!  Many thanks to Ryan & his sisters for wanting to make a difference in their community, raising $56 with their lemonade stand! Your parents should be very proud of all of you!

Hosts Sumo Wrestling Competition amongst the teachers and SCF is one of the Beneficiaries thanks to teacher Bill Young who raised $550 for us!

PAL MITEY GOLD

THE RINX

Our first annual Skating Fundraiser & Clothing/Food Drive was a great success and will most definitely take place again next Columbus Day!  Many thanks to the PAL Mitey Gold Hockey team not only for assisting us in planning, implementing & attending this event but also for assisting us with the clothing/food drive!  To the SHE DECA girls & to SHE for filling up 3 trucks worth of clothes, much appreciation.  Thanks to the McGuigan/Moon girl scouts who suprised us with a collection of food for our thanksgiving baskets!  Finally to The Rinx, we couldn't have pulled this off without you and the help of Matt & his staff!   

SMITHTOWN TEACHERS ASSOCIATION

The STA continues to assist us in many ways, from sponsorships at our events to their own fundraising efforts.  Not only were we the beneficiary again this 
year of their Denim for Dollars Day, but they recently held a fundraiser which helped us fund a scholarship in Loving Memory of Tracy Ochs, a teacher & parent in our community who passed away from pancreatic cancer. 
The STA at it again, always thinking of us!  While they recently enjoyed a Yankee game, they simultaneously ran it as an SCF fundraiser! 

ON THE GO FITNESS

On The Go Fitness organized training sessions leading up to an annual 5K in St. James in May 2012 and the SCF was the beneficiary.

SMITHTOWN YOUTH BOWLING
In May 2012, the Smithtown Youth Bowling Association held a fundraiser on our behalf and raised over $500!
