OFFICIAL RULES-The Scone Queen Bakes Cookbook Giveaway Presented by the Smithtown Children's Foundation​​

NO PURCHASE OR DONATION NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE OR DONATION WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.

​​1. Sponsor - The Scone Queen Bakes Cookbook Giveaway (“Giveaway”) is sponsored by the Smithtown Children's Foundation (“Sponsor”), located at [Insert official mailing address], New York.

2. Eligibility - The Giveaway is open to legal residents of New York State who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees, officers, directors, and individuals directly involved in administering the Giveaway, and their immediate household members, are not eligible. Void where prohibited by law.

3. Giveaway Period - The Giveaway ends Saturday, November 7, 2026, 11:59pm  EDT.

Entries received after the deadline will not be eligible.

4. How to Enter - To enter, complete the official free Giveaway Entry Form at:https://www.smithtownchildrensfoundation.com/contact 

Provide your name, email address, and requested contact information. Limit one entry per person.

No purchase, donation, Community Table event ticket, social media follow, tag, or share is necessary. These activities do not provide additional entries or increase the chance of winning.

5. Prize - One (1) winner will receive: One signed copy of The Scone Queen Bakes, by Chef Danielle Sepsy, also known as The Scone Queen.  Approximate Retail Value (ARV): $38 

The prize is nontransferable, has no cash redemption value, and may not be substituted by the winner. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the advertised prize becomes unavailable. 

6. Winner Selection and Notification - One winner will be selected through a random drawing from all eligible entries received during the Giveaway Period. The drawing will take place on or about November 17, 2026. The potential winner will be contacted using the email address provided on the entry form and must respond within 72 hours. If the potential winner cannot be contacted, fails to respond, or is found ineligible, Sponsor may select an alternate winner.

​7. Odds of Winning - The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.

8. Prize Delivery - The winner will receive instructions for claiming the prize. The prize will be available for [local pickup or shipment arrangements to be specified]. No attendance at the Community Table Grand Tasting is required to win or claim the prize.

9. Publicity and Privacy - Personal information collected will be used to administer the Giveaway, verify eligibility, and contact the winner. Entry does not constitute consent to receive marketing emails. Sponsor may request permission to announce the winner's name on its website or social media channels, subject to applicable law.

10. General Conditions - Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify entries that are fraudulent, incomplete, automated, or submitted in violation of these Official Rules. Sponsor may suspend, modify, or cancel the Giveaway if fraud, technical failure, or circumstances beyond its reasonable control compromise the integrity of the promotion, subject to applicable law. By participating, entrants agree to these Official Rules and, to the extent permitted by law, release Sponsor and its representatives from claims arising from participation or acceptance or use of the prize, except where prohibited by law.

11. Social Media Disclaimer - This Giveaway is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook, Instagram, or Meta. By entering, participants release Facebook, Instagram, and Meta from liability relating to this Giveaway to the extent permitted by law.

Requests must be received within 30 days after the drawing.

13. Community Table Grand Tasting - This Giveaway is being promoted in connection with the Smithtown Children's Foundation Community Table Grand Tasting, taking place Tuesday, November 17, 2026, at 6 PM at Watermill Caterers in Smithtown, New York. Purchasing a ticket or making a donation is entirely optional and does not affect Giveaway eligibility or odds of winning.
